I spent almost three years looking at natural edge conference tables and could not find what I wanted for a reasonably price. While driving over to Portland, I stopped by Jewell Hardwoods shop and found exactly what I wanted and Tim customized to exactly what we were looking for. I ended up buying two custom tables from Tim and his crew. They were great to work with and they were wonderful all the way to delivery. Tim has some great vision of what is possible with natural wood and creates beautiful works of functional art.

Years ago, my boyfriend and I mused at the idea of a live edge table, but it just wasn’t in the cards. But after relocating to Oregon a little over a year ago, I stumbled onto Jewell Hardwoods at one of the home design shows. I fell in love with their work but only took home a stump side table.

When it was time for our home remodel, I instantly thought of Jewell. And drove my boyfriend out to their shop. We found an amazing maple slab and didn’t turn back. (I also ended up adding a beautiful waterfall walnut bench). Everyone we worked with was great and the work is amazing. The staff at Jewell Hardwoods were all great to work with. My first visit i spent almost two hours picking out the wood slab I wanted. They helped me find the perfect piece. I toured the shop where all the magic happens. They put a lot of quality workmanship in every piece they do. The cost of the project was very reasonable. It took just a short time for the table to be finished. It is better than I imagined.
